LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. (WHP) – A bible study instructor is facing charges for allegedly sexually assaulting a child at a Providence Township church. Michael Hess, 49, of Quarryville is accused of inappropriately touching a girl while he was an Awana bible class leader at the New Providence Church of God, located on 269 Cinder Road, according to charging documents.
