MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) – The Montgomery Area Chamber of Commerce is urging the Alabama Department of Education to once again take over the Montgomery Public Schools System. Chamber officials, as well as other community leaders from the city, county and state, gathered for a Thursday morning news conference to address what the Chamber calls a “leadership crisis for Montgomery County Public Schools.”
