Kane Brown is the 2024 People’s Choice Country Awards’ “Country Champion,” and his speech while accepting the honor proved to fans that it was “so deserved.”
Before the Thursday, Sept. 26, ceremony officially kicked off at Nashville’s iconic Grand Ole Opry House, the “Miles On It” crooner donned a suave look as he walked the red carpet with his wife, Katelyn . The 30-year-old father of three wore a black shirt beneath a navy suit jacket and matching pants, while Katelyn wore a burgundy dress and matching clutch.
But it wasn’t Brown’s outfit that garnered the most attention. After delivering a fiery performance of “Fiddle in the Band,” a song he released earlier this year, the country star was called back up onstage to receive the second-ever Country Champion Award. Wynonna Judd received the inaugural award last year.
Following a short video highlighting Brown’s success in music and community support efforts with the Boys & Girls Clubs of America, Brown stepped onstage to deliver an acceptance speech that fans online praised for its humility.
