ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – Gwinnett County leaders continue to brace for Hurricane Helene’s impact on the metro Atlanta area. Atlanta News First met with officials on Thursday at the Gwinnett County Emergency Operations Center in Lawrenceville and they said they are worried that roadway conditions will only get worse as the outer bands of the Hurricane produce more heavy rainfall throughout the night.
