MANHEIM TOWNSHIP, Pa. – Dog bites are the most common type of animal bite in the U.S. It’s estimated there are almost 4.5 million dog bites each year in this country, with some 8,000 of them requiring medical attention. A Lancaster County woman became a victim earlier this month.
