INWOOD-Former kindergarten teacher Kate Gerber never thought she’d find herself in a school counseling role. In fact, she saw her life going down a different trajectory. “I thought I was going to be an elementary teacher,” Gerber said. “But due to my mentors and the qualities that I have, people really saw something in me, and I decided to go with that nudge.”
