Springfield Public Library announces Native American cultural program for kids

SPRINGFIELD, Ore. – A program focused on teaching kids about Native American culture is coming to the Springfield Public Library. The ‘Acorn Circle’ program is free and brings cultural learning through hands-on educational experiences and the Springfield library is partnering with the Singing Creek Educational Center, a non-profit that specializes in living history education, to make the program available. The ‘Acorn Circle’ program is available to children six to 10 years of age and each of the three sessions will feature a book reading and craft project.
