JACKSON, Miss. ( WJTV ) – Atmos Energy and the Salvation Army partnered on Thursday to assist metro area residents who are struggling to pay their natural gas bills.
The Energy Assistance Blitz allocated more than $200,000 to help customers pay their bills. The event was held at the Salvation Army on Beasley Road in Jackson.
Atmos Energy officials said they will host more assistance events as they enter the next fiscal year.
