Vehicle crashes into Seneca Co. home, causing fire; driver charged with OVI

SENECA COUNTY, Ohio – Charges were filed against a driver accused in a Pleasant Township crash that caused a significant housefire Thursday. According to a social media post from the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office, a vehicle crashed into a home in the 6000 block of N. County Road 33 just before 12:30 p.m. Investigators said they determined the vehicle, driven by 23-year-old Anterius Thomas, was traveling at a “high rate of speed”, failed to negotiate a curve and went off the roadway.
