CHICAGO — An investigation is underway after a 58-year-old man was found dead on a sidewalk on the city’s Northwest Side.
The discovery was made around 5:35 a.m. Friday in the 4300 block of North Milwaukee Avenue in the Portage Park neighborhood.
Police said the man was found unresponsive on the sidewalk and pronounced dead on the scene.

Detectives are conducting a death investigation pending autopsy results.
