MOBILE, Ala. (WPMI) – A birthday wish come true for a World War II veteran. Bernard Teevan served on board the U.S.S. Alabama battleship during the war. That was 80 years ago. The veteran asked for just one thing for his 99th birthday this week, to revisit that ship he called home during the war.
