MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – Escambia County, Florida is stepping up to help assist areas of the state that are being impacted by Hurricane Helene. “Our neighbors to the east were going to need it. This morning we got the request to Madison County Florida. As you saw the large caravan just leaving. We’ll be there in a couple of hours to assist our neighbors to the east,” Chief Deputy Andy Hobbs said.
