A fatal shooting in Jacksonville’s New Town neighborhood left one man dead yesterday night, as reported by local authorities. According to News4Jax, Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office (JSO) officers near Beaver Street heard gunfire around 8 p.m. They discovered the victim on the 700 block of Eaverson Street, presenting with what seemed to be gunshot wounds.
