Another suspected brothel found inside San Jose home

(KRON) — The San Jose Police Department’s Human Trafficking Task Force said tips from residents helped officers uncover another brothel operating out of a home on McKee Road.

Two San Jose women connected to the brothel, Xiaohong Yang and Mei-Chen Juan, were arrested on suspicion of human trafficking, according to SJPD. Yang, 55, and Juan, 53, were booked into the Santa Clara County Main Jail.

When the task force searched the McKee Road home on September 11, officers found two human trafficking victims, police said. The victims were provided with resources.

Earlier this month in San Jose, officers found three more suspected brothels operated in homes on Palacio Royale Circle, Bonita Avenue, and Gifford Avenue. A police report obtained by KRON4 described what neighbors endured when men looking for sex showed up at the wrong houses.

One tip about Palacio Royale Circle stated, “My mother’s home … continues to have solicitors asking for women and have shown my mother pics of Asian women whom they are looking for. Several men have tried to force themselves into my mother’s home. It is dangerous.”
