Pennsylvania sheriffs warn residents ahead of 2024 presidential elections

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WTAJ) — The Pennsylvania Sheriffs’ Association put out a warning ahead of the 2024 presidential elections.

With elections quickly approaching this November, and recent acts of political violence in the country, the association put out a release stating they will not condone such actions.

They added that anyone who engages in violence against a voter or attempts to illegally disenfranchise voters will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

“Part of the definition of democracy reads ‘government by the people,’” they wrote in the release.
