Stay at Prince’s ‘Purple Rain’ House, With Wendy & Lisa as Your Hosts

The Minneapolis house where Prince’s character in Purple Rain resided has been transformed into a shrine for the singer and the iconic 1984 film, with the abode soon heading to AirBnb for fans to stay in.

The Purple Rain House ” will be available on the rental site for 25 one-night stays starting in October, with an added bonus: Wendy & Lisa, the Revolution members and Prince’s co-stars in the film, are serving as the house’s hosts, and the duo has curated a uniquely Prince experience for those lucky enough to grab a reservation.

“Not to brag, but we really outdid ourselves,” Wendy & Lisa say in the Airbnb listing. “The place is jammed with epic memorabilia that will give u a rare perspective into Prince’s creative process during his Purple Rain era—through the eyes of two people who lived through it (us!). And what’s a better way to crawl inside his head than listening to Prince’s personal tape collection, seeing the actual outfits he wore, and smelling his curated scent bar featuring his favorite perfumes? That, and ungodly amounts of ’80s nostalgia. You’re welcome. Let’s go crazy, shall we?”
