Grammy Award-winning Rapper André 3000 spotted in Amarillo

AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — A living legend recently stopped in Amarillo.

Grammy Award-winning rapper, producer, songwriter and actor André 3000 was spotted on Sixth Street on Thursday, Sept, 26.

Antonio Trujillo, aka “Chino Tha Hustla”, got a picture with the legendary artist, and told MyHighPlains.com that Andre’ Three Stacks kindly signed autographs and posed for pictures when he stopped in High Fidelity Vinyl on Sixth Street Thursday afternoon.

André 3000 is best known as one-half of the legendary Grammy Award-winning duo Outkast, and is widely regarded as one of the greatest lyricists of his generation.

He’s known for hit songs like “Rosa Parks,” “Miss Jackson,” “The Whole World,” “Hey Ya!,” and “I Do” just to name a few.

It’s believed André 3000 was passing through the Yellow City while headed to Albuquerque, NM as part of his ongoing A Myriad of Pyramids tour.
