A man found mortally wounded in the Martin Luther King Jr. neighborhood early Wednesday, September 25, 2024, has been named by the Caddo Parish Coroner’s office. Eric Clinton, 51, of Shreveport, was found unresponsive near Legardy Street and Dr, Martin Luther King Jr. Drive around 9:50 a.m. He had been stabbed several times. He was taken to Ochsner LSU Health hospital, where he succumbed to his wounds at 10:35 a.m.
