Our Student of the Week winner for the week Sept. 27 is Delainey Burrack, a senior at Tea Area High School.
She was one of two students their school and district to participate last week as we kick off the return of one of our newest initiatives, the Argus Leader’s Student of the Week, celebrating high school students across Lincoln and Minnehaha counties.

Burrack stands as an exceptional role model for her peers, demonstrating kindness and respect to all students, said David Preheim, the assistant principal, in his nomination submission.
“There aren’t many things that Delainey isn’t involved in at Tea Area High School, including NHS, Tri-M, Student Council, Hope Squad, Student Rep for the Board, and Band; she is always eager to give back to her community.
