Rat birth control? It could be an innovative solution to Baltimore’s rat problem

(WBFF) – As Baltimore City leaders work to address the rat problem, they are considering innovative solutions such as rat birth control. Councilmember Phylicia Porter brought the idea up during a Health, Environment, and Technology Council hearing Wednesday. According to a proposed resolution, Baltimore City’s 311 system averages over 100,000 calls for rat abatement annually.
