SEATTLE – Washington State Patrol (WSP) is investigating a homicide after a person was found dead at an encampment near Interstate 5 Friday morning. According to WSP, the body was found at about 9 a.m. when encampment resolution workers entered an area at the juncture of I-5 and I-90 to clean and smelled a strong odor of decomposition. WSP said the area had been home to an encampment on state right-of-way property, but the campers had moved out.
