BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ( WIAT ) — Girl Scouts of Alabama troops are inviting residents across the state to lend a hand in making s’mores for a sweet cause.
The Girl Scouts of NorthCentral Alabama (GSNCA) and Girl Scouts of Southern Alabama (GSSA) will attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the most people making s’mores at one time.
Folks will get ready to roast their s’mores at 2 p.m. on Oct. 6. Attendees can find the event space location for each participating troop and register online. Every person counts to beat the record, even those who aren’t a part of a Girl Scout troop.
