New details in SW OKC Walgreens murder case

OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) — Court documents reveal details on how investigators were able to track down a woman in connection to a deadly shooting in SE Oklahoma City on July 18 .

Homicide detectives were able to obtain video surveillance video from businesses in the surrounding area. Video footage showed a woman walking along Southeast 44th Street moments after a gun shot was heard.

According to court documents, the woman was seen walking with a hand gun in their left hand before concealing the weapon and continuing to walk.

On Friday, September 6, an officer responded to a disturbance call at Integris Southwest Medical Center. Upon arrival, the officer spoke with a woman, later identified as Darlene Sue Thomas.

The officer arrested Thomas, who matched the description of the suspect in the video surveillance footage of the July 18 homicide. During the arrest, the officer found Thomas to be in possession of a handgun and meth.
