Dry weather takes over as cleanup from Helene begins

GREENVILLE, S.C. (FOX Carolina) – Helene is now behind us, with quiet weather settling in as the massive cleanup effort gets underway. Helene is now a post-tropical remnant low, set to meander over the Tennessee Valley this weekend and continue to weaken. Partly to mostly cloudy have developed in the wake of the storm and will continue into tonight. Those without power should be able to remain comfortable enough by opening windows, as lows head for the low 60s. Southerly winds will persist at 10-15 mph, gusting up to about 20 mph at times.
