MOBILE, Ala. ( WKRG ) — CSX Railroad will work on track improvements throughout Mobile County over the next few weeks, according to a news release from the City of Mobile.
The city’s release said the locations within Mobile’s limits will require road closures starting Tuesday, Oct. 1, through Monday, Oct. 14.

Here is a list of the roads that will be closed on Oct. 1:
- Canal Street
- Palmetto Street
- Short Texas Street
- Virginia Street
- Hamilton Boulevard
- Cary Hamilton Road
The city provided the following two maps of two detours scheduled for next week:
