California’s East Hollywood Named One of the Coolest Neighborhoods in the World

East Hollywood has been recognized as one of the coolest neighborhoods on the planet, according to Time Out magazine. The Los Angeles district was ranked 26th on the prestigious global list, celebrated for its vibrant and growing culinary scene.

Time Out praised East Hollywood for being “free of Tinseltown’s tourist traps” and emerging as LA’s top destination for food lovers. The Melrose Hill area, in particular, was highlighted for its collection of casual restaurants and the trendy LA Grocery & Café.

East Hollywood was the only neighborhood from California to make the list, further cementing its reputation as a cultural hotspot.

Globally, the top honor went to Notre-Dame-du-Mont in Marseille, France, followed by Mers Sultan in Casablanca, Morocco, and Pererenan in Bali, Indonesia. Other U.S. cities that made the list included Kerns in Portland, which ranked fifth.
