Oklahoma first responders rescue 98-year-old woman from flooding

TREASURE ISLAND, Fla. (KFOR) — A team of Tulsa firefighters traveled to Florida to assist first responders during Hurricane Helene.

The Oklahoma Task Force One arrived and was dispatched to a home at Treasure Island.

A 98-year-old woman was trapped in her house after the storm surge.

She wasn’t able to use her walker because her house was flooded with five feet of water.

The Oklahoma team got her to safety.

Other team members have been evacuating people and rescuing pets all night.
