CSRA – There are emergency housing and shelters for those who have been impacted by Hurricane Helene.
The Housing and Community Development is supporting Parks and Recreation in partnership with the American Red Cross at the following shelters, which are the preferred locations for those displaced by the storm:
- May Park, 622 4th Street, Augusta, GA 30901
- Henry Brigham, 2463 Golden Camp Road, Augusta, GA 30906
If you or someone you know needs shelter, please reach out to the Salvation Army Center of Hope, Garden City Rescue Mission, or Augusta Rescue Mission for assistance.
DFACS and DPH state that both agencies will be on-site to assist youth where needed.
