In three games so far in 2024, UCLA has given up 29.7 points per game despite allowing just 13 points against Hawaii in the season-opener.

Since then, the Bruins have allowed 42 points at home against Indiana, and 34 points on the road against LSU. So far, power conference teams haven’t exactly struggled to score the ball against UCLA.

The Bruins passing defense has been particularly porous, giving up an average of 295 yards and 2.7 touchdowns through the air per game. In their last matchup against LSU, Tigers’ quarterback Garrett Nussmeier recorded 352 passing yards and three passing touchdowns as UCLA lost 34-17.
