SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) – The former Savannah Police officer charged with murder in a 2022 shooting has turned himself in. The Chatham County Sheriff’s Office confirms they have taken Ernest Ferguson into custody. Ferguson turned himself in at the Chatham County jail with his attorney around 4 pm Friday.
