No one injured in Saturday morning West Linn house fire

Crews from Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue responded to a large house fire on Windham Oaks Court in West Linn shortly before 7 a.m. Saturday morning, Sept. 28.

A TVF&R public information officer said two people and a dog managed to escape the home without injuries, but are now displaced.

According to the fire agency, firefighters arrived to find heavy black smoke and flames coming through the roof of the home and upgraded the call to a first alarm, then upgraded it again to a second alarm.

Crews reportedly had the fire under control around 8:15 a.m.

Lake Oswego Fire and Clackamas Fire helped respond to the call.

The public information officer said a fire investigator was on scene working to establish the cause of the fire.
