The Colorado Springs Fire Department was on the scene of a working structure fire at 1264 Potter Dr.
Officials are asking the public to avoid the area as crews respond.
As of 12:40 p.m., CSFD has tweeted that the fire was able to be contained to the kitchen before being put out.
The fire was apparently caused by food that was left on the stove.
No injuries have been reported.
The occupants have been displaced and are being helped by property management and the American Red Cross.
