Tragedy struck Mesa as two lives were claimed in a violent collision that authorities attribute to a red-light running driver, now investigations are probing into the possibility of impairment behind the wheel. According to FOX 10 Phoenix, the fatal incident unfolded near the intersection of U.S. 60 and Country Club Drive just after 7:30 a.m. on Sept. 27. The Arizona Department of Public Safety reported that a red car and an SUV had been idling at a red light when the pickup truck failed to stop, resulting in a crash that propelled the car into the SUV, the deadly force of the accident leaving no chance for survival for the two individuals within the car.
