OMAHA, Neb. – In 20-22, cancer claimed the lives of nearly 35 thousand Nebraskans, making it the second highest cause of death in the state. Currently, minority populations have a significantly higher risk of dying from cancer. UNMC is partnering with an organization called One Stop Cancer Shop to help change those statistics.
