Bullets strike two people in Elk Grove shooting, police say

(FOX40.COM) — Two people were struck by gunfire after a shooting in Elk Grove Friday night, according to the Elk Grove Police Department.

Around 10 p.m., EPD received several reports of a shooting at the SES Hall, and a report of a person suffering from a gunshot wound. Officers said they arrived on the scene and found an individual with a gunshot injury, who was transported to a local hospital.

Shortly after, EPD said a second person connected to the incident arrived at a different local hospital with a gunshot wound. Both individuals sustained non-life-threatening injuries. The circumstances leading to the shooting are under investigation.
