COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) – Saturday evening expect overcast skies and breezy conditions. Tonight in the Valley expect partly to mostly cloudy skies with a slight chance of a passing shower and temperatures falling into the low- to mid-60s. Sunday expect mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies with a majority of the day being nice and dry, but can’t rule out a stray shower for some, with temperatures reaching the low- to mid-80s. Kicking off the work week on a near seasonable day with temperatures in the mid-80s and mostly sunny skies. Afternoon temperatures will warm into the mid- to upper-80s by the middle of the week with a dry front moving through the area during the middle of the week. Conditions this week will be a lot drier and sunnier than last week; expect dry skies Monday through Thursday, with some moisture trying to make a return late week. Looking ahead to next weekend, we will have to turn our attention to the tropics once again.
