SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) – On Saturday, September 28, the Shreveport Fire Department responded to two separate house fires within one hour of each other. The first fire was reported at 12:40 p.m. in the 3200 block of Alabama Avenue. Engine 8 arrived on scene within four minutes and reported heavy flames coming from a detached building behind a house.
