SAVANNAH, Georgia: A strike by dockworkers from Maine to Texas is becoming increasingly likely, according to the head of Georgia’s bustling seaports. Griff Lynch, CEO of the Georgia Ports Authority, expressed concerns that the potential work stoppage could start as soon as October 1, though he hopes any shutdown would last only a few days.
