HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – Hispanic Heritage Month runs through Oct. 15, and local businesses and organizations are hosting cultural events to celebrate. Miriam Olivas, chef and owner of Wahiawa restaurant Barrio Cafe, joined HNN’s Sunrise to talk about her 6th annual celebration called “Sabor Dia de los Muertos” from 5-8 p.m. on Oct. 12 at Sweetland Farm in Waialua, which celebrates the music and diverse cuisine of Mexico.
