Endangered Child Alert canceled for Jackson children

JACKSON, Miss. ( WJTV ) – The Missing and Endangered Alert issued for Keyshawnna Williams and Samad Jackson has been canceled. They have been located and are safe, according to MBI.


JACKSON, Miss. ( WJTV ) – The Mississippi Bureau of Investigation (MBI) needs your help in finding two Jackson children.

MBI activated the Missing and Endangered notification on behalf of Hinds County Sheriff’s Department. MBI Agents shared that Keyshawnna Williams, 5, and Samad Jackson, 1, were last seen on Sunday, August 11, at about 1:00 p.m. in the 2600 block of Emerald Drive in Hinds County. Keyshawnna and Samad may be accompanied by their non-custodial mother, Ciara Jackson, 31.

The African American woman is 5 feet tall, weighs 130 pounds and has brown hair and brown eyes, according to MBI. Keyshawnna and Samad have black hair, brown eyes and weigh 45 and 20 pounds, respectively. The non-custodial parent and the missing children are also in the FBI’s National Crime Information Center (NCIC).
