USC’s patience and perseverance fuels second-half rout of Wisconsin

LOS ANGELES – It was not looking good. Even worse for USC, it was looking bad in all the ways the doubters expected it to look. Wisconsin stormed into the Coliseum and pushed the Trojans around during the first half of USC’s first-ever conference home game as a Big Ten member. The Badgers used back-to-back touchdown drives to take a 21-10 lead into the halftime locker room. Wisconsin used a muffed punt by Zachariah Branch to set up a one-play touchdown drive. Tawee Walker blasted in off tackle from 18 yards away to push Wisconsin ahead 14-7.
