CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) – An area of low pressure continues to spin to our northwest while dry air wraps around on the southern side of the remnants of Hurricane Helene. Expect lots of sunshine today and a very small chance of rain. Highs will top out in the upper 80s inland, low 80s at the beaches. There is a low risk of rip currents today at the beaches. A spotty shower is possible this afternoon and evening but most folks will stay dry. A slight chance of rain will be possible overnight but should be gone by the time you wake up on Monday morning.
