Coming in today, all of the talk about UNLV was their starting QB transferring out due to an NIL dispute, and what it would do to the chemistry of their team. It looked like the team could not have been more united behind backup Hajj-Malik Williams, as they exploded today in blowout fashion over Fresno State, 59-14. If it could go wrong for the Bulldogs today, it did. The second play of the game was an interception on a trick play from Josh Wood, and it never improved from there. A blocked punt turned in to a UNLV touchdown, 3 different Fresno St QBs threw interceptions today, the Rebels returned a kick for a touchdown, and Fresno’s defense was utterly shredded.
