GREENVILLE COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) – One person was killed Sunday morning after a fight turned into a stabbing.
According to the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office, at around 1:23 a.m. deputies were called to a scene on Sulphur Springs Road. At the scene, deputies found Rodardric Larrayle Dawkins, 50, with a stab wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The sheriff’s office said Dawkins and another individual had been in an “altercation” which led to the stabbing. One person has been detained, though no charges have been filed at this time.
The stabbing remains under investigation. We will update this story as more information becomes available.
