A daylight shooting in east Raleigh has resulted in the death of a woman, with Raleigh Police reporting the incident occurred just before 11:20 a.m. on Saturday, within the 1400 block of East Lane Street. Police arrived at the scene to discover the woman suffering from serious gunshot wounds, thereafter she was promptly transported to a local hospital for treatment but, tragically, she later succumbed to her injuries as per the authorities’ update, according to a CBS17.
