Bucs RB Rachaad White to Play Sunday With Illness

Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Rachaad White appeared on the team’s injury report on Saturday with an illness and was questionable for the matchup Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles.

The team now says White will play through the sickness that is thought to have been food poisoning.

Fellow running back Bucky Irving was also listed as questionable with a hamstring injury, but he is also expected to play.

Right tackle Luke Goedeke will miss Sunday with a concussion. It will be the third straight game missed with the head injury.

The Eagles are dealing with their own injuries. Receivers A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith won’t suit up, giving tight end Dallas Goedert lots of opportunities to catch passes.

The Bucs offensive line will have to deal with Jalen Carter and the rest of the Eagles’ pass rush. Carter was dominant against New Orleans last week and the Bucs have given up 12 sacks in the last two games.

The Eagles lead the regular-season series 9-8 but the Buccaneers own the postseason 4-2 including a 32-9 tilt in the Wild Card round last season at Raymond James Stadium.
