Vikings Star Aaron Jones Issues 2-Word Warning to Packers on TD Plan

Former Packers star Aaron Jones will make his first trip to Green Bay as a visiting player on Sunday in Week 4, as the undefeated Vikings roll into Lambeau Field to face the team for which Jones starred for eight seasons.

If he has his way, not only will he find the end zone for the Vikings against his old team, but he will make the familiar jump that he’s made so many times before in his career—the Lambeau Leap. Jones scored 30 home-field touchdowns as a Packer, including three in the playoffs, which means he’s done about 30 of the well-known Packers touchdown celebrations.

Just before the start of the Week 4 showdown, Jones was asked by CBS Sports if he was expecting to make a Leap, even as a visiting player. His answer was direct: “Of course.”

Jones left the Packers when he refused to take a pay cut this offseason, and landed with the Vikings. He is off to a good start in Minnesota, rushing for 228 yards and a touchdown in three games.

“It’s a full-circle moment,” Jones told CBS. “Driving down the same street that I lived on, told someone, ‘Hey, I used to live right there.’ But really, just a full-circle moment.”
