6th Eugene Emergency Water Station unveiled at Amazon Park

EUGENE, Ore — Dozens of Eugene residents showed up for the ribbon cutting of a new EWEB Emergency Water Station. Located at Amazon Park just south of the Eugene YMCA along East 24th Avenue, it is the sixth such station in the city. EWEB is on track to complete the Emergency Water Station Program within a budget of approximately $3 million. The water stations serve as an emergency location to get water in case of a disaster that takes out the city’s ability to provide clean water.
