NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A firefighter was attacked while working in Manhattan earlier this month, and police released photos of the suspects on Saturday night to help with the investigation.
The firefighter was in front of 197 Hester St., near Mulberry Street in Little Italy, at 11:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 20, when a man and woman approached.
Police said that the duo started arguing with the firefighter, but the dispute turned physical when they punched the victim, causing minor injuries.
The suspects then fled the scene on foot.
Surveillance images of the couple show the male suspect wearing a navy blue hoodie with a white floral pattern, jean shorts, yellow sneakers and a yellow hat, and the female suspect clad in a gray jumpsuit, jean jacket and blue sneakers.
