Power outages persist in southern Ohio after Hurricane Helene

OHIO – As of 5:00 p.m. today, power restoration efforts continue across Southern Ohio, where over 13,600 customers remain without electricity following the extreme winds and rain from Hurricane Helene. Initially, the storm left 83,000 Ohioans without power. Utility companies like AEP Ohio and South Central Power have restored power to approximately 83% of customers.
